Flat Plan

I created a flat plan in the pre production stage of my music magazine, by creating a flat plan it helps me order and structure my magazine and gives me a sense of direction in the way i want to create my magazine. Peopele use this technique in big industrys for the pre-production music magazine, this is wh i decided to use the technique to create a more proffetional magazine. 

Overview Of Premilinery Task

By carrying out my premilnery task i was able to implement my skills that i would need for my music magzine. I increased my computer skills by using microsoft programs such as publisher which im not that comfortable with. i used publisher to create my contents page and my front cover of my school magazine which anabled me to stretch my abilty of the program and its features. I practised operating different functions of excel, creating my questionnaire and the results of it. This initial first task was useful as it helped me to get to terms around the programmes which I was originally quite amateur at. By completing this first task I now feel more self-assured to begin my music magazine.

Some Original Pictures I Took

I took original images to practise my photography skills, prior to my music magazine which will contain all original images. I took landscape photographs of my school because i thought it would look more professional and more effective to view the school as a whole.

Magazine Research

These two magazines I have picked ‘High Profile’ the same Magazines but two different issues of the magazine. With these two magazines they both have a main header in white text and simple writing, there simple but effective approach style worked out in there favour. It is a formal magazine with black and white colour, there style of the magazine tells you that it is a very formal school and it may be a private school. There target audience will be mainly for the students and parents. The name ‘High Profile’ it has a play on words because just like magazine the school is high profile.
